New Paris Events page added

We have added a new events page, to highlight upcoming events in and around Paris. To get us started we have added information for the Paris-Nice bike race, Paris Gay Pride march, Tour de France and Fête de la Musique. We will work hard to add all the annual events that take place in Paris and as many of the one-off events as we can.

Champs Elysee turned into Farm

The Champs Elysées was turned into a farm yesterday, staying that way until today. The Young French Farmers Union (Jeunes agriculteurs) did this to highlight the need to buy French produce at a fair price. It cost 4.2 million Euros to do this. A fair price?
